SEND Week 2022 Creative Percussion with Jo May

Join Jo May for an insight into her percussive work in SEND settings. In this session we will look at a range of ideas for online and face-to-face music sessions, using drums, hand-held percussion and makeshift percussion instruments, including: different ways of playing; exploring different types of sounds; feeling the vibrations; creating simple rhythmic patterns; creating soundscapes; incorporating songs; and responding to the group that you’re working with.
