Connecting young people with sound opportunities
MenuDirector
I’m the Director of AMP, and develop our strategy, vision and mission. I’ve been on the team since 2018, and I’m really proud of our journey with youth led work in this time. A gig I’ll never forget was Ivor Cutler’s last ever show. He didn’t like loud or sudden sounds, so asked us all to applaud at 50% of our usual volume and not to eat ‘noisy sweeties’.
Programme Manager
I work with partners and young people to design and deliver our projects, including AMP: Plugged In which is solely focused on 11-25 year olds. Favourite music moments are always when I’m recording my songs in the studio – at one stage it felt really out of my reach and I feel grateful every time I get to do it.
Networks Manager and Administrator
I lead the development and co-ordination of AMP Networks (Partners Network, Early Years Music Network, SEND Music Network and the Remote Music Network) and I’m also the Administrator for AMP. My most memorable music experience is getting the chance to watch a recording at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
