AMP Network Bursaries 2025 – now open for applications

AMP Early Years and SEND Networks are offering an opportunity for four emerging music leaders to undertake a training programme with the support of a bursary.
This development opportunity would be ideal for a music practitioner looking to develop their skills and confidence as a SEND or EARLY YEARS (EY) music leader. We are not looking for someone who necessarily already has expertise in these areas. Enthusiasm and commitment to developing musical leadership skills will be prioritised in bursary recipients.
What the programme includes:
SHADOWING
3 x Half-Day shadowing sessions in a SEND or EY music setting in North Yorkshire. You will shadow an experienced music leader, spending time observing and playing musically with children in the setting, taking part in reflection discussion.
MENTORING
4 x 1hr Mentor Sessions. You’ll meet online (or in person) with an experienced music leader to reflect on and discuss your observations from the sessions and how these can inform your own practice and work
RESOURCES AND TRAINING
Access to our online resources featuring a huge range of pre-recorded CPD sessions. Plus further training and CPD as agreed with AMP.
FEE
AMP will be offering a bursary of £500 plus travel to take part in this programme.
TIME COMMITMENT
Exact times to be agreed between AMP and successful candidate. Enthusiasm and commitment to developing musical leadership skills is more important than already having an advanced skillset
