Annual Review 2023-24

We’re very pleased to share our 2023-24 Annual Report with you – our first year as AMP!

It’s been an incredible journey of bringing music to more young people than ever through projects ranging from beatboxing residencies to mentoring young female brass band conductors.

We’ve loved collaborating with Opera North to bring live-streamed performances into Key Stage 2 classrooms, while our Musical Journeys and Little Notes projects have kept inspiring our youngest musicians. Meanwhile, our eye-opening research report “Gone in the Air” showed the extent of rural inequality. We found that only 10% of the rural young people we spoke to had ever attended a concert – something we’re determined to change

Youth voice continues to drive everything we do, with 55% of our board members aged 30 or under. And we couldn’t be more proud of our AMP Producers’ fantastic music festival this year – they did a great job.
