This is the Come As You Are Podcast, a brand-new show placing the spotlight on the next generation of talent emerging from the alt/indie/punk scene across Yorkshire. Having recently performed at the Come As You Are Festival, each artist has been in conversation with our journalist, Emily, to reveal everything from their journeys into music to who their biggest influences are.

In this episode, we are joined by Lucy Austin (Lucy Austin (@lucymusicyork) • Instagram photos and videos, a talented singer/songwriter who talks to us about the inspiration behind her first debut single ‘You’ as well as how the Artist Development Fund has supported her journey, and how an afternoon busking led her to perform at a wedding!

Episode 3- THE MARBLE ARCHES

With two EPs already released, we delve into the making and meaning behind songs ‘Johnny Galecki’ and ‘Vector’ and how they earned a spot on the Bingley Weekender line-up alongside stars including Miles Kane and Echo and the Bunnymen.
Episode 4- DJANGO JONES AND THE MYSTERY MEN
For our final episode, we are joined by Will and Joey from our festival headliners Django Jones and The Mystery Men ( Django Jones (@djangojonesandthemysterymen) • Instagram photos and videos ).
