What is AMP’s youth led offer?

Age groups: 11-14, 14-17, 18-25

Our youth led programmes are for those aged 11-25, but we split activities across three different age groups. Over the year, we run various different programmes designed to support young people to develop new skills in the world of music, sound and creative careers.

AMP:Producers

Ever wanted to host your own gig series or put on your own music festival?

Applications are now open AMP Producers 2024. We’re looking for a team of creative and ambitious 18–25-year-olds (up to 30years if disabled or neurodiverse) who live in North Yorkshire to fill exciting paid roles across our AMP: Producers team. Working together you’ll each play a part in creating a day long festival or event series that represents what excites you in music across North Yorkshire right now.

If you’re passionate about music, journalism, marketing, communication or education, then this programme could be for you.

PODs (Professional Development Opportunities)

PODs are workshops or short courses designed to introduce different skills to young people across North Yorkshire.

These workshops are designed in collaboration with young people, and topics are chosen based on what young people tell us what they want to see!

In the last year, this has included areas such as song writing, DIY Festivals, podcasting and more.
