Have you got a child at home that loves music?

We are teaming up with Blue Boxt Creative and Performing Arts to deliver free music workshops and jam sessions for 6-11 year olds in the Richmond area. These workshops are designed for complete beginners or people a little way into their journey with exploring music or learning an instrument.

It all starts with taster workshops running this month and next:

• Catterick Library: Tuesday 20th February
• Askrigg Village Hall: Tuesday 27th February
• Leyburn Methodist Church Hall: Friday 1st March

Come along and have a go!

The sessions will be run by Bee Darcey and Jennifer Saggers, delivering a range of activities like bucket drumming, Create-a-Song and much more!

No experience necessary, but if you do play an instrument please bring it along.

The three taster workshops will lead up to 8 regular band sessions, starting in March, on Fridays, 4.30pm-6.00pm at Leyburn Village Hall. Dates to follow so watch this space.
