Jodie’s Blog: Creating Musical Detectives

Out now on our resource page… Jodie’s Blog: Creative Musical Detectives

A blog written by Jodie Jordan on her journey to creating her most recent project ‘Musical Detectives’ in a SEND school in North Yorkshire.

Jodie, a community musician based in York came through our AMP Producers programme (previously Rural Fest) as an emerging career practitioner and has since created Musical Detectives with the support of AMP as a progression from this opportunity.

Her blog post explains how she put together Musical Detectivities and also shares some of her top tips for starting your development as a music leader.

“This project didn’t come without challenges, especially for the first time running an independent project. I am going to share my top tips for working in a similar setting, similar groups and running an independent project overall”
