AMP: PODs Tour Management Workshop (registration open)

Are you 18-25years and looking to start a creative career in live music? This free interactive workshop will take you through some of the key skills involved in tour management and other live music roles.

Get hands on with activities designed by AJ Sutherland, a working tour manager of 14 years – fun fact he has recently toured with bands such as All American Rejects and Dermot Kennedy.

AJ will also share insight into other jobs in and around tour management (sound supervising, technician and more) and answer your questions about how to start your career in the world of live music whilst living in the North.

THIS IS A FREE WORKSHOP FOR 18-25 YEAR OLDS HOSTED AS PART OF AMP’S Youth Voice  PROGRAMME.

About the facilitator: AJ has been touring for 14 years as a tour manager, production manager, sound engineer and playback technician. Recent acts he has tour or production managed include The All-American Rejects, Dermot Kennedy, Mura Masa, Thundercat, Alec Benjamin and Tokio Myers. AJ is passionate about developing upcoming and diverse talent and is a founder of and tutor for the 3T initiative (www.3.charity)
